Reiki An ancient healing art rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui [Japan] in the 19th Century and introduced to the Western World 30 years ago.
Rei – spiritual or sacred [literal Japanese]
Ki – energy [literal Japanese]
The literal translation of the Japanese work Reiki is spiritual
or sacred energy.
Also can be translated as Universal Energy or Universal Life Force Energy although in the West it can be the name of the energy or the healing system.
Reiki is not a religion or a belief system. It is a method of working with energy that allows the body to clear blocked energy channels, release toxins and bring itself back into balance and thereby heal itself. It is also a gentle yet powerful path to personal
and spiritual growth.

Indian Head Massage
The stresses and strains of a modern lifestyle can often cause tension in the shoulders, neck, face and head.
The tradition of Indian Head Massage practised in India and Pakistan has been passed on through generations from mother s to children. It is also common for men to be offered Indian Head Massage after their haircut or shave at the barbers.
As well as promoting shiny healthy hair and increasing hair growth it was noted that the massage also brought about relaxation, relieved headaches, aided restful sleep and brought relief from aches and pains.
In recent years the technique has been developed further by Narendra Mehta. It now includes treatment of the face, neck, shoulders and upper arms and is now known as Indian Champissage. It is beneficial not only for many physical conditions but also works to calm, balance and heal emotional issues.
Can relieve or alleviate the following conditions:
Tension headaches Eyestrain Tinnitus Sinusitis Congestion Restricted joint movement Stress Neck & Shoulder Pain Insomnia Mental tiredness Anxiety Jaw ache and stiffness
Indian Head Massage brings a feeling of calmness and relaxation. It disperses toxins from tense, knotted muscles, stimulates and improves the circulatory and lymphatic systems.
Option of essential oils/cream offered.
The treatment takes about half an hour and can be taken on its own or added to another therapy. E.g ½ hour Indian Head Massage and ½ hour Reiki.
“Regular head massage is wonderfully relaxing, enhances the health of the scalp and promotes the growth of lustrous hair”
“If we all had half an hour of this a week, I am convinced, life would seem sunnier” Daily Mail
